Brooklyn Schuetzen Corps
The Brooklyn Schuetzen Corps (Est.1858) is New York's oldest and only traditional German Schützenverein (shooting club). The club welcomes men of German background who are interested in shooting sports as well as learning about and maintaining the German culture in New York.
Meetings are held at the Park Restaurant on the 4th Wednesday of the month (except JUL, NOV & DEC). Membership over the last 150 + years has and still includes many dignitaries within the German-American community. All activites are held at the Plattdeutsche Park Restaurant.
Besides longstanding interests in the shooting sports, the BSC is an active social club that works to preserve the German Heritage and Community by participating in many activities and events at the Plattdeutsche Park and in the surrounding area.
