Premier of B3+ recent program with new line - up: Franz Hackl, John Clark & Marcus Rojas
Join us for a completely new B3+ experience! For the B3+ North East Tour, band member and bass trombone virtuoso Dave Taylor will be replaced by Marcus Rojas, who is widely considered to be one of the best all around tuba players in the world.
On March 16th the premiere of B3+ new program will take place at the Austrian Cultural Forum New York. The B3+ will play the same material that will be performed in Chicago, which also will be broadcasted live on WFMT 98.7 FM.
The repertoire for this concert features new and old Jazz Standards from Swing, through Be Bop to Funk. Classical and Baroque material (Beethoven, Bach) is used as a starting point for new ideas and a vehicle to communicate and brought into the 21st century. Of course, B3+ will also play original compositions.
