To set the right mood at the start of the evening, celebrated German-Romanian cabaret singer Sanda Weigl will perform several songs from her past as rock star in East Berlin. Interesting insights into lesser-known aspects of German reunification will be delivered by the keynote speaker, Prof. Laurence McFalls, Director of the Canadian Centre for German and European Studies in Montreal.
